  • Overview

    Reporting to the Dean, the Director of Global Programs and Partnerships organizes, plans and directs the administrative support for international programs in the Feliciano School of Business. The Director is charged with developing and maintaining relationships with partner institutions and agencies. A principle responsibility of this position is the ongoing leadership of the International Disney Program. In addition to supporting existing international programs, the Director will work with other FSofB leaders to develop new international programs and partnerships. The Director will also actively support and promote study abroad opportunities for business school students.


    • Oversee all operations of the International Disney Programs; including student recruitment and enrollment, curriculum management, planning and logistics while students are on campus, ongoing support for students during their internship experience, maintaining cooperative relationships with our Chinese partner institutions and Disney corporation staff.
    • Work with the appropriate academic leaders to:
      o Support the development of new international programs, including undergraduate, certificate and graduate degree offerings, short duration programs, and corporate training programs.
      o Oversee the development and maintenance of MOUs and articulation agreements with international partners.
      o Facilitate the development and implementation of policies and procedures for international study, research, service learning and exchange programs.
    • Act as the FSofB liaison to campus and community organizations, in particular the Office of Global Engagement, that are dedicated to improving international student engagement and retention.
    • Work with the Director of Communication and Web Content on the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies targeting international students, their parents and partner institutions.
    • Develop and maintain quality assurance measures to evaluate and report on the strength of partner relationships.
    • Act as the initial point-of-contact for all urgent matters associated with FSofB students involved in international programs as well as visiting international students enrolled in FSofB programs.
    • Supervise and direct staff and student workers involved in FSofB international programs.
    • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for visiting international groups and partner representatives.
    • Identify and prepare grant proposals for international programming initiatives.
    • Plan and organize an annual Study Abroad Fair.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • A Bachelor's degree is required.
    • Minimum of five years of related work experience,
    • Candidates must have exceptional communication, interpersonal and multicultural skills; the ability to establish and develop long-term relationships with internal and external partners, and prospective students; and the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external partners ensuring that cultural norms are followed.
    • Candidates must be highly motivated, detail oriented, able to work independently as well as function effectively as part of a team; thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • The position will require candidates to work evening and weekend hours as well as travel domestically and internationally, on a frequent basis.  Travel requirements of the position will require continuous multi-week travel to international and domestic locations.



    • Master's Degree is preferred, with a preference for a degree in a business discipline.
    • Preference for candidates with direct experience working with students, faculty and academic leaders on global programming initiatives. Experience developing business or academic partnerships and managing a team is desired.
    • Preference for candidates with cross-cultural experience; experience living, working or studying abroad.
    • Writen and verbal fluency with east Asian languages preferred.
